Letters to Lilly are what I wish someone had shared with me as a young woman starting and navigating a career, and what my seasoned self still needs today. They are gentle reminders that we are not alone, and that our experience, no matter how different, hold common truths.

I am so sorry to share that you developed an undiagnosed syndrome which will cause you many problems throughout your career.
The good news is that in your late thirties, you finally uncover what has been impacting you for years… and oh how I wish it was understood earlier.
My dear Lilly, you suffer from imposter syndrome. You spend your early career worried that you aren’t good enough, believing that your luck will run out, and fearful that someone will recognize that you really aren’t as talented as you have been given credit for.
